The K-beauty product that introduced centella asiatica to the Western mainstream. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair uses a blend of centella-derived actives (madecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, asiatic acid) to calm, repair, and strengthen the skin barrier. The 'Tiger Grass' name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would roll in centella plants to heal. The green-to-beige color-correcting version went viral, but the original cream (this one) is the better skincare product - no color corrector, just pure centella repair. Five ceramides. No fragrance in the cream version. For redness, rosacea, post-acne inflammation, and damaged barriers, this is K-beauty's answer to Cicaplast.
How to use
Apply as moisturiser or on top of moisturiser to irritated areas. Best at night for maximum repair. Can be used AM for redness-prone areas. Layer under SPF in the morning.

Best for: rosacea-prone skin, redness, post-inflammatory erythema, damaged barriers, sensitive skin. K-beauty lovers. Less ideal for: oily/acne-prone skin (rich texture), those who prefer French pharmacy alternatives.

Day 1: calming sensation, reduced redness. Week 1-2: stronger barrier, less reactivity. Month 1+: visibly calmer, less reactive skin. Centella works fast for calming, slower for long-term repair.

1. Buying the color-correcting version thinking it's the same (different formula, has green pigment). 2. Expecting it to treat acne (it calms, it doesn't treat). 3. Not considering LRP Cicaplast as a cheaper alternative with similar results.
