A milder cousin of SLS (ethoxylated version). Still a relatively harsh surfactant but less irritating than SLS. Very common in cleansers and shampoos.

Effective cleansing, good foam, less harsh than SLS

Can still irritate sensitive skin. Milder than SLS but not as gentle as glucosides.
